The Goliath Frog is recognized as the largest frog in the world. This huge extant anuran can grow up to 13 inches or 33 cm long. It can weigh up to 8 lb or 3 kg and can live up to 15 years. The Goliath Frog can be found in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea both in Africa. It is considered as an endangered species due to habitat loss, collection for food consumption and its collection for the pet trade.
